The Brazilian Congress of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (COBRAC) is already a traditional event in the specialty across Brazil and Latin America. With over five decades of history, it has helped to shape the specialty. Today, COBRAC is a global event, bringing together guests from all over the world, and various specialty societies develop parallel activities during the event.

The XXVII Brazilian Congress of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (COBRAC-2026) will take place in Natal-RN, from August 26 to 28, 2026, at the Convention Center. This event, which has become a landmark for Brazilian OMFS over the years, celebrates not only the history of the Brazilian College of OMFS but also the future we are building together. Currently, Brazil has a large number of oral and maxillofacial surgeons and is an important center for developing and training in the specialty, not only for Brazilians but also for many foreigners interested in the field.

We are eager to welcome all participants to a carefully prepared setting, worthy of a major event like COBRAC. The excellent physical structure and the privileged location of the convention center will further facilitate attendance by our congress participants.

As mentioned, we will have a great and interesting scientific program, with colleagues from various countries and subspecialties, providing opportunities for updating and deepening scientific and professional knowledge. We must not forget the partnerships with other specialty societies, which will also be present, and the opportunity for students (undergraduate, lato sensu, and stricto sensu) and residents to present their scientific works and be considered for awards.

The city has a strong tourism vocation and offers a vast hotel network, numerous leisure attractions, gastronomy, and handicrafts to fascinate participants and their families, all in the characteristic relaxed and friendly atmosphere of the northeastern Brazilian people.

Culturally, we are also committed to ensuring a social environment where we can strengthen our friendship bonds and networking. We are planning an important show at the opening ceremony, themed happy hours, the famed residents’ night, and our traditional speakers’ dinner.
